Susan Wiggin, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, will present a talk on working in mediation (or otherwise) with parents who are in high conflict. There will be a period after the talk for questions and audience participation activities.

BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION - Susan Wiggin has been practicing social work since 1999 where she began her career at The Kids First Center. Susan has facilitated the Kids First Program since 2000 and is one of the creators and facilitators if the Intensive CoParenting Education Program. She served as a Guardian ad Litem and Parent Coordinator in Maine District Courts for over 10 years.

In her private practice, Child-Centered Solutions, she works with parents experiencing high conflict separation, divorce, post-divorce and step family issues in addition to working with victims/ survivors of Intimate Partner Violence.

Susan has presented at the National Association of Family and Conciliation Courts conference, the National DHHS conference for child support and recovery, and in Archangel, Russia in the Rule of Law Consortium in addition to presenting in the State of Maine. In 2010, Susan was a proud recipient of the Family Law Achievement Award presented by the Maine State Bar Association.
