Background
Over three decades I’ve have had opportunities to assist parties make better choices in difficult moments using a variety of approaches. Initially my mediation training was in community conflicts, then moved to out-of-court civil disputes by helping found The CT ADR Project (an award winning non-profit) then went into private practice mediating complex matters in 17 states over a number of years. I’ve managed conflict in an untold number of civil and divorce cases, as well as, assisting in international rule of law matters. Over the years many training and consulting opportunities emerged in both the private business and public sectors including, co-founding a youth diversion Restorative Justice Program and a Law School based mediation practice clinic. Most recently I’m learning how embodied social justice principals can enhance my effectiveness as I continue to pursue my life’s calling to better serve people in conflict situations.
